I am seeing my own Dr. once a month and the Vascular Clinic at my local hospital every six months, plus of course taking medication. Be grateful that you had Intermittant Claudication(symptoms of PAD) since only 15-20% have any symptom. If you smoke or have diabetes, you need to find youself some help soon.
