Certain things have happened in my life over the past week or so, which I won’t go into too much detail here but it is suffice to say, they made me stray off of track!
So are you staying on track to reach your goals and ambitions or are you like me and have been led astray?
The easiest way to reach whatever goals you have set yourself is to keep focused on them, keep telling yourself about the benefits your goals bring to your life, keep making steps towards reaching your aims, no matter how small these steps may seem they will eventually add up to a missive stride.
Staying on track isn’t always easy as I have have found recently, distracted by some bad news, distracted by friends letting me down and getting distracted by temptation. All of these issues need to be dealt with efficiently and sensibly.
I say sensibly because often things can get out of perspective, you get overwhelmed by emotions and you stop thinking clearly. As I said earlier I won’t give specific details but here is an example of what I mean from one of last weeks distractions.
Someone I have recently become very close to became seriously ill and is still suffering badly both physically and emotionaly. Naturally I was upset and concerned, spending too much time energy and emotion worrying about her. I didn’t realize this until she told me that this would do nothing to help her and that the best way to deal with the situation was to get on with my life and to think of her in a positive light.
I could help her more by being myself and not an emotional wreck! Good advice.
So now I am more determined than ever to get back on track, reach my goals and to send as much positive energy to her as I can spare, and get all the NEGATIVITY out of the way. In simple terms, if there is something stopping you reaching your goals and their is nothing you can physically do to remove it, move on, move forward and that thing will be behind you before you realize it.
I’m not sure whether I have explained this too well, but I hope that you get at least as sense of what I am trying to tell you. It has certainly cleared a few blockages just writing this post – so Thank You for listening!
