I bet you have been here…
You have a problem, share it with someone and the next thing you know they are apparently an expert in that field although in truth they really don’t know what they are talking about.
I was recently diagnosed as having Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D) and before I told anyone about the diagnosis everyone said I just had a sore leg and that I should expect things like that at my age…Thanks!
However as soon as I mentioned P.A.D. they became experts and told me all about the disease and how best to cure it, suddenly my friends were Witch Doctors.
Maybe all this Medical School nonsense is a waste of time!
But Hey, Politicians have been getting away with it for centuries.

Look at http://www.vdf.org(The Vascular Disease Foundation) or my website if you wish info on PAD. Be grateful that you had Intermittant Claudication(symptoms of PAD) since only 15-20% have any symptom. If you smoke or have diabetes, you need to find youself some help soon. There are specialists in PAD around the country if you need a name. Harrington
Thanks for the info Harrington. I am seeing my own Dr. once a month and the Vascular Clinic at my local hospital every six months, plus of course taking medication. I am taking more exercise and have stopped smoking so I am hoping to have it at least under control.
Thanks again.
Steve
